We hope you have had a chance to view the new photos on our website. Toby Snelgrove, a local Mayne Island professional photographer, came on a beautiful Spring day last week and took some wonderful photos of the campground and redecorated cottage. As many of you know, we have only been on Mayne for a year and so we continue to be amazed at the beauty of this island and its wonderful community. One of our favourite photos captures the seals being watched by campers on the Point followed by a second one showing the seals keeping a good lookout right back! Some days we have as many as 30 seals and pups sunning themselves on the rocks.
